Grilling Pork Chops Simply Scrumptious
Grilling pork chops over charcoal will produce some of the best tasting pork chops you have ever eaten. You must be careful to not over cook the meat as there is a tendency when cooking pork chops to keep them on the grill too long. This will make the chops too dry. The grill needs to be hot - very hot. Cooking time will vary depending upon the thickness of the meat. Pick chops that are approximately 1/2" thick. Rub the them with this rub recipe for an outstanding flavor.
Grilling Pork Chops Recipe 1 tblsp ground cumin 1 tblsp chili powder 1 tsp brown sugar 1 tsp ground black pepper 4 Pork Chops with bone
Combine all of the above ingredients in a bowl. Mix and apply to the meat. Let the meat absorb the rub for about an hour in the refrigerator.Make sure they are cold when you place them on the grill. Place the chops on the hottest part of the grill. Cook each side until browned (approximately 4 or 5 minutes depending upon thickness of the meat). Remove the pork chops from grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
